Challenge | A client in a highly regulated environment had achieved significant growth through a series of acquisitions. As a result of the acquisitions, the corporate entity had significant policy inconsistencies which led to serious compliance risks, as well as costly process inefficiencies. The client sought to remediate compliance issues with implementation of a GRC software package.
DCG Solution | DCG performed a rapid analysis of the current state of corporate policy, departmental compliance planning and risk management content. Additionally, DCG leveraged our Package Implementation Methodology to develop a robust implementation roadmap complete with functional sequencing, resource requirements, technical requirements and budget.
Value | The current state analysis identified the need for a much more rigorous approach for normalizing compliance content – this was necessary to get current policies up to date, as well as to keep them aligned to future regulatory change. The approach for updating content normalization was then integrated into the software implementation approach to provide a more comprehensive implementation plan which met the needs of the Compliance and IT organizations.
